Spiderman themed cake
We first came across A Sweet Surrrender at the Park Street Christmas Carnival. They were selling cupcakes and cookies and we loved their Red Velvet cupcake with Cream Cheese topping. The cookies were also great. Sadly, when we came back later to pack some for home, they were sold out. We found them on Zomato later and decided to order for a birthday cake and some cupcakes. They are based in Rajarhat and delivers around that area and Salt Lake. We picked our order from City Centre.
Wasted Chocolate Spiderman Cake
My wife was looking for a custom made cake, and the over-the-phone ordering process went smoothly. The prices were pretty competitive too. Our main order was a wasted chocolate cake with Spiderman theme along with a camera and some books. How to plan the cake, we left it on them. We were pretty impressed with the end product, both taste and lookwise. Nightscape of city buildings on the sides with starry sky extending to the top of the cake. A Spiderman face on top with a camera on one side and few books on the other. Simple but attractive. Also the fondants didn’t taste bad. They were not great (fondants never taste great), but not even bad like in some cafes and bakeries.
Red Velvet Cupcake with Cream Cheese
The cupcakes we ordered were the Red Velvet with Cream Cheese topping, Lemon and Orange Chocolate. All were delicious, but I liked the orange chocolate the best.

Packing was neatly done and all items were in perfect shape when we opened the boxes. In all a great place to order your cakes from if you live around the Saltlake, Rajarhat, Newtown area.
